COMBINATION HUNTS: ELK / WHITETAIL DEER / BLACK BEAR

Travis Reggear and Mike Stockton realized that if Travis specialized in hound hunting with hounds for bear and lion and Mike specialized in Archery and Rifle hunts for whitetail Deer and Elk, it would provide the sportsman with a larger variety of quality hunts. The two businesses operate in the same area, which is over 150 sq. miles of private, state and federal lands. Over the last few years Travis and Mike have started working together to give the sportsman a better and higher quality hunt than is offered in many places. The two have combined forces to offer Archery elk and whitetail deer hunts in early September and a combination hunt for Elk and Whitetail deer with a hound hunt for black bear in mid September. In October, we will offer a Rifle Elk, Whitetail Deer and a hound hunt for Black Bear. November will bring our trophy Whitetail deer hunts. We limit these hunts to only four hunters a week. This enables us to offer a more quality personalized hunt to all our hunters. Most of these hunts will utilize treestands for deer and some elk hunting. This area and our outfitting business has produced 6 in the top 10 whitetail taken in Idaho and the current number 2 buck, which was number 1. Since both Travis and Mike live in this area and are hunting most of the year, they can say they know the movements and patterns of the Big Game you are hunting. We offer these hunts the first weeks of September, which are usually warm, and the elk and deer are concentrated around good food sources and scarce water supplies. All these factors make it easier to pattern them. The rifle elk hunt has 3 days of hound hunting for your bear and then the first 4 days of rifle season, which is the best time for both hunts. It is truly your best chance for three animals.
Trophy whitetail hunts during the rut are 5-day hunts and again limited to four hunters a week. The last hunt can also be combined with a lion hunt if weather permits.
